INGREDIENTS 1 LB GREEN BEANS

INSTRUCTIONS (serves 6–8)
1. Caramelize onion in a saute pan on medium heat stirring occasionally 2. Blanch green beans in boiling water for 2 minutes, drain 3. Lay beans on a platter. Drizzle with lemon juice. Top with tomatoes and smoked almonds.

1 WHITE ONION, SLICED
¼ CUP SMOKED OR ROASTED ALMONDS
1 TBSP LEMON JUICE
¼ TSP SALT
¼ TSP PEPPER
¼ CUP ROASTED RED TOMATOES
INSTRUCTIONS (SERVES 6-8)
1. Caramelize onion in a saute pan on medium heat stirring occasionally until softened, approximately 20 minutes.
2. Blanch green beans in boiling water for 2 minutes, drain and shock in an ice bath.
3. Lay beans on a platter. Drizzle with lemon juice. Top with tomatoes and smoked almonds.
