Fig & Bree Puffs


Brie, figs and honey make for a sophisticated and surprisingly easy canapé. Your ticket to looking like you spent all day in the kitchen… without looking like you spent all day in the kitchen.


1-2 Puff pastry sheets
1 Egg, beaten
140 g Brie, cut into small pieces
3 Figs, cut into 8 pieces each
As needed Honey, for drizzling


    1. Preheat oven to 375°F. 
    2. Cut puff pastry into 5 cm (2”) rounds and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush each circle with egg. 
    3. Place cheese in the center of each pastry circle, and fig pieces at one side directly onto parchment paper . 
    4. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until pastry is puffed and golden. 
    5. Remove from oven and assemble; press a piece of fig down onto the cheese center of each puff. Drizzle with honey and serve warm.
