Jalapeño Cheddar Meatloaf


Take your drab meatloaf and spice it up with a mixture of three types of meat, spicy jalapeno peppers and sharp cheddar cheese.



Serves 4

 75g  Onion pureed
1/2 Garlic pureed
2 tbsp Dijon mustard 
100 g Bread crumbs
1 Egg
3 lbs Meatloaf mix (equal parts beef, chicken, veal)
1 tbsp Oregano
100 ml Barbecue sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 piece Jalapeno pepper chopped
200 g Cheddar cheese shredded



Have all ingredients prepped in advance. 

Mix all ingredients together. Season with salt and pepper and add to a non-stick Teflon loaf pan. 

Bake uncovered at 325 f convection till cooked through and a probe thermometer shows an internal temperature of 165 f or 74 c for a minimum of 15 seconds.

After cooked through let it rest for 5 minutes before removing from the pan. Slice and glaze with your favourite BBQ sauce.
