Spicy Maple & Caramelized Onion Green Beans

Tender green beans are tossed in a sauce that balances sweet and heat for a bold, flavourful side that takes just minutes to prepare.

1 bag (400 g) French Green Beans
To taste Diamond Crystal Kosher Salt
2 tbsp Brickstone Caramelized Onion Confit
2 tbsp
Chuck Hughes’ My Vegetable Farmer’s Hot Pepper Spread
2 tsp Kinsip Whisky Barrel Aged Maple Syrup
1 tsp lemon juice



1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add the green beans.

2. Cook beans for 3-4 minutes or until they’ve reached your desired tenderness. Whisk the remaining ingredients together in a medium bowl.

3. Drain beans and place in the bowl with the dressing. Toss to coat.
