Food Show: Buyer's Winter Edit
A seasonal in-store tasting event featuring our buyers' top new product picks.
Food Show: A Buyer's Winter Edit
Free tastings, giveaways, prizes, and 10% off — Friday November 20 at Pusateri's Avenue Road
Pusateri's Toronto: A Store Tasting & Shopping Event
Every product on our shelves has a story before it reaches you: a buyer who tried a dozen versions before choosing one, who tracked down a small brand worth sharing, who believed a snack deserved a bigger audience. Most days, that story stays behind the scenes. Not this one.
As the season turns toward hosting, gifting, and slower evenings, join us for an afternoon where our aisles become a tasting table. Walk the store the way our buyers do, curious and a little hungry, and taste your way through the products they're most excited to share this winter.
📅 Friday, November 20 · 11 AM – 3 PM

This Edition's Lineup
A taste of what's ahead
Host-ready:
- Pusateri's Steelhead Salmon: a gourmet maple wood smoked fish made from rainbow trout that closely resembles and tastes like salmon.
- Savoursmiths Chips: Kettle-cooked potato chips with the skins left on in luxurious flavours, like Truffle Rosemary, Bubbly & Serrano, or Italian Wine & Cheese. Flavour and a crunch that holds up to the charcuterie board.
- Lena's Dips: Small-batch dips from a Scarborough kitchen, made with Canadian-grown chickpeas. First thing on the table when guests arrive.
- Nonny Non-Alcoholic Beer: Craft non-alcoholic beer from Vancouver, brewed with just hops, yeast, barley and water. Something good to pour for the guest who isn't drinking.
- The Cheesecake Factory Cheesecakes: Dessert is done. Back by popular customer demand.
Weeknight winners:
- Pasta Mancini: Farmstead pasta from Italy's Marche region, made where the wheat is grown, shaped through bronze dies and dried slowly so sauce clings to it. Taste it paired with our Semplice Sauce.
- Pusateri's Semplice Sauce: Our own classic tomato sauce, Nonna Dina's original recipe made in-house from imported Italian tomatoes.
- Pusateri's Lasagnas: Our homemade lasagnas made form fresh pasta, featured in two varieties; wild mushroom, cheese & spinach.
- Kitchen Guerrilla Marinades & Sauces: Toronto chef Roshan Kanagarajah's line of marinades and dipping sauces. A shortcut to a bold dinner.
- Pip's Heirloom Snacks: Made with heirloom corn from seeds passed down through generations of farming families. The brand you may know as Pipcorn.
- Frux Fruit Snacks: Freeze-dried strawberries covered in chocolate, stuffed and coated date bites.
- Liam's Frozen Pancakes: Gluten-free and all natural breakfast foods in traditional flavours and some varieties with hidden vegetables.
Perfect gifts:
- Bisou Teas: Ontario-made loose leaf and single tea bags, in blends like Tender Jasmine and Ayurvedic Detox.
- Fancypants Cookies: Crispy cookies made with up-cycled oat flour (leftover pulp from oat milk) and real butter. Free of peanuts and tree nuts.
- Mary's Brigadeiro Bake-at-Home Cookies: From Toronto chocolatier, Mariane Oliveira, bake-at-home from frozen stuffed cookies.
Come hungry, explore freely, and discover what makes it onto our shelves — and ultimately onto your table. We look forward to welcoming you The Food Show.
