Join our Meat Department and play a key role in delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service. As a Meat Cutter, you will create a positive shopping experience by ensuring our customers receive fresh, high-quality meat products prepared to the highest standards.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, cutting, trimming, deboning, portioning, packaging, and displaying a variety of meat products while maintaining the highest standards of quality, freshness, and food safety. You will provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with product selection, answering questions, and fulfilling special requests. You will help ensure the department clean, organized, fully stocked, and merchandised to provide an outstanding shopping experience.

Previous experience as a Meat Cutter or Butcher is required. We are looking for dependable, motivated individuals who take pride in their work, demonstrate initiative, and have a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, works well in a team environment, and possesses strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Follow food safety standards and protocols
- Safely operate meat grinder, band saw, slicers, and knives
- Minimize waste by properly rotating products
- Cut, trim, debone and portion meat to company standards
- Maintain a clean, organized and fully stocked department
Must Have
- Previous meat cutting experience is required
- Strong knowledge of meat preparation
- Excellent knife skills
- Able to operate meat department equipment
- Strong attention to detail
Nice to have
- Food Handlers Certification
- Strong product knowledge
- Experience with inventory control and product rotation
- Strong organizational skills

Meat Cutter Pay Range: $19.25/hr - $25.00/hr
