Leerdammer Cheese is a Dutch firm cheese made from cow's milk, characterized by its delicately sweet, slightly nutty flavour and slightly elastic texture with numerous holes. It is mild, creamy and has an inviting and pleasant aroma. Leerdammer is aged from 3 to 12 months, and is often compared to Emmental and Gouda.
